The ranking of Bordeaux Chateau in 1855 didn't only include red wines, the sweet dessert wines of the Sauternes were added as well. Although ranked in the same way as their red wine counter parts (by prices fetched over the past 100 years) the Sauternes only have three classifications to the Médoc's five. Like the Médoc, no updates to this list have been made since it's inception of 1855, so although it is mostly still accurate in terms of quality, there are few Chateau that deserve to be upgraded, few more downgraded, and others who should be included in this list.
